Whether your company is accredited or not with The Joint Commission, you will benefit from the Outcomes Benchmarking Program. You can compare your outcomes results to hundreds of other companies in the country and use this data for performance improvement and marketing purposes.

If you are accredited with The Joint Commission, we have eight approved indicators for you to select:

  • A PICC related infection requiring catheter removal or ATB therapy.
  • A CVC related infection requiring catheter removal or ATB therapy.
  • An Adverse Drug Reaction to prescribed infusion therapy.
  • An unscheduled hospital admission related or non-related to prescribed infusion therapy.
  • A Home Medical Equipment failure requiring repair or removal of the equipment from the patient's home.
  • An unscheduled delivery of medication, supplies, etc. to the patient's home.
  • An unscheduled therapy visit (PT, OT, nursing, pharmacy, etc.) to the patient's home.
  • A medication error resulting in patient receiving improper medication or dose.

You can submit your outcomes data on these indicators to us electronically. We will benchmark your data against all other participating companies and send you a monthly report with the results. If you are accredited, we will also submit this data to The Joint Commission in their required format and timetables.
