Items to Consider when Implementing CPR+

• SQL Server: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or 2008 with the latest Service and Security Packs. [SQL Server 2005 & 2008 must be a default instance]
• Virtual Environments: VMWare and Hyper-V
• Printers: Recommended Label Printers (DataMax Thermal Printers) and Recommended Document Printers (HP LaserJet Printers).
• Enterprise Module Hardware: TWAIN compatible document scanner and Robust Fax Server Software

Local Area Network (LAN)

To maximize the benefits of CPR+, your organization can implement a PC-based Local Area Network (LAN). A network allows simultaneous use of CPR+ by multiple workstations enhancing your productivity. For networks with four or more workstations, D.H.S. strongly recommends a dedicated File Server running Windows® 2003 Server.

Wide Area Network (WAN)

If you have multiple service locations, centralized billing or intake departments, or satellite offices, CPR+ can be deployed over a Wide Area Network (WAN). To run CPR+ over a WAN, a terminal server emulation product such as Citrix or Windows Terminal Server is required. A WAN requires the execution of a WAN license agreement (which does not include a terminal server license). **SQL Server Licenses (Through a Value Added Reseller (VAR)

For single site installations with 1 to 5 users, a free copy of 2005 SQL Server Express Edition is provided with the installation (for databases that are less than 4 GB). For installations with 6 or more simultaneous users, a dedicated SQL Server Database must be purchased. CPR+ is a 32-bit application written in Microsoft Visual FoxPro and designed with a SQL Server Database back-end. Optimal performance is obtained by running a Windows 2008 environment with MS SQL Server 2008.

Workstations must be Windows 7 Professional or Vista Business/Ultimate Edition.
