Start Date at D.H.S.:
April 1993
Years of Industry Experience:
20 Years
Previous D.H.S. Positions:
Well, let me see . . . I’ve been the Sales Department, Training Department, a Customer Support Rep, receptionist, painter, janitor, landscaper . . . just about everything but Programmer (which, trust me, is a good thing!).
Previous Industry Experience:
During nursing school, I worked in the ER of a small, community hospital in my hometown and later in the ER of Columbus Children’s Hospital. After getting my BSN from Ohio State, I spent two years in the SICU. Bored with the hospital routine, I got into homecare where I spent five years learning and thoroughly enjoying the Home Infusion Industry. It was during this time that I met Stuart and we started working on CPR+.
Work on Other Teams, Committees or Projects:
Like Stuart, I’ve been involved in nearly every software development initiative, project, and effort since we started D.H.S. Stuart and I remain totally involved in the day-to-day operations of the company and, if you need us, we’re just a toll-free phone call away.
Why I work at D.H.S.?
I really like to create software, to solve complex business problems, to make customer’s lives easier. D.H.S. is a pretty intense place to work but also it’s a lot of fun. Since 1993, I still get excited to come to work everyday. We go 100 mph all the time, there is no “slow” season, no down-time. We develop, sell, train, and support mission-critical software that our customers rely on to run their businesses. We take that role very seriously, and our attitude is “failure is not an option." |

Why I work at D.H.S.?
D.H.S. is an environment where we are all focused towards a single goal: creating the best software and the best service available to homecare / Home Infusion companies. We know our customers' focus is on taking care of their patients, so everything we do is related to making the software and services support the operations of our customers. D.H.S. encourages everyone to learn as much as they possibly can about every aspect of what we do and what our customers do. |
